PRINTING
ROTOGRAVURE PRINTING
f you are new to flexible packaging, that’s not a problem, we can guide you through every stage of the packaging process from the very moment you make contact to the moment you receive a pallet of finished goods.
Rotogravure printing or just simply gravure printing is a type of intaglio printing process which uses a rotary printing press. It involves engraving an image onto a copper plated steel cylinder base.
FLEXO GRAPHIC PRINTING
The flexographic printing technique, which is an example of a convex direct printing, is crucial for the printing of plastics. Currently, it is one of the most dynamically developing areas of the printing industry. This is due to the possibility of the widespread use of this technique for printing on both absorbent and nonabsorbent bases.
Flexographic printing is done on paper, cardboard, or plastic film. Liquid inks with a low viscosity are used for printing. There are water-based inks, solvent, and ultraviolet (UV)-cured inks among them. Nonabsorbent bases (films) are mainly printed using UV- and solvent-based inks, but water-based inks, because of their ecological aspects and increasingly better adapted properties, are being used more often.
